Depending on the features used for your class, you may see some but not all of the buttons shown on the left. Other courses may have additional buttons. The buttons are in a frame that will provide these navigation options no matter which page in the course you are on.

Announcements is the entrance page for the course. On this page you will see reminders from your professor or important information for the week.

Course Information is another word for Syllabus. You will find your course syllabus by clicking this button.

Staff Information is the contact information for your professor.

Course Documents contains the content for the course. You will find folders in this area clearly labeled by the information within. Click on the folder to see the information inside.

Assignments is the button to find out the requirements, due dates, etc., for your assignments.

Books is a link to the textbook information for the course.

Communication is the button for accessing the Discussion Board and the Virtual Classroom (Chat) areas. The next button is an alternate way to go directly to the same Discussion Board as you would access through the Communication button.
