For presentations that will be viewed using a television monitor or a data projector, dark colored backgrounds with light letters work best. If you are producing material for an overhead projector, use a blank background and darker letters. Since resolution using any projecting technique is not as good as you see on your computer monitor, graphics should be simple. Avoid intense details or patterns. These will be lost in projection.
